SGEU’s provincial council has been working hard to build a strategic plan—a road map that builds on our past and positions us for future success.
This plan was approved at convention and we have started to work with standing committees to align their work with the strategy. We will continue to involve our bargaining units, sectors and locals to ensure we are working in collaboration to achieve our goals. Part of this collaboration involves sharing our strategy with our membership.
President Sauer is excited to see change focused on building pride in our union, building engagement in our membership, and increasing the understanding of the relevant role of the labour movement in today’s ever-changing world.
