SGEU executive members elected to municipal office

Congratulations to SGEU elected members Tracey Sauer and Tim McKay on their recent election victories. Tracey was elected Mayor of Kelvington, and Tim was elected Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Meadow Lake.

Tracey serves on the SGEU executive as the NUPGE Vice-President, and works as a Health Information Practitioner and Administrative Assistant for the Kelsey Trail Health Region.

Tim McKay is the Vice-Chair of the Public Service Sector, and is an equipment operator for the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure.

Both Tim and Tracey are long-time union activists and will be exceptional leaders in their communities.
