Tell government to keep IT services public

In Saskatchewan, we expect our government to spend our money wisely.
But the Sask Party government is doing just the opposite, by quietly privatizing IT services.

Since 2009, IT staff in the Ministry of Central Services have been cut by 43%. Meanwhile, overall spending has increased by 140%.

Clearly, government is still taking our money. Only now, they're giving it to big companies instead of local workers.

Meanwhile, Saskatchewan people are getting way less in-house expertise, while spending more money for the same work.

This is definitely a great plan – if you own an IT company.

The question is: why should we pay more and get less?
Tell the government to smarten up, and keep IT services public.
