Mental Health First Aid Essentials Training

Join us for the Mental Health First Aid Essentials training, hosted by Opening Minds. This interactive, one-day online training is designed to equip you with the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to support someone experiencing a decline in their mental well-being or a mental health crisis.

This streamlined program provides a strong foundation in core mental health principles, effective communication techniques, the ALGES support framework, and essential strategies for prioritizing your own self-care.

Capacity: 15 spots available

Eligibility: Must be an active SGEU member and have completed or be registered for the LD 30 course.

Registration deadline: Monday, September 28 at 5:00 p.m.

Selected participants will receive confirmation and meeting details on September 29.
