2012 SGEU life members
Each year we honour retirees that have long-served in our union. This year's SGEU life members were Sid Wonitowy and Mabel Litowski of the Public Service Sector.
Mabel Litowski
Mabel first became a union member in 1976. She was hired as a social services worker in Income Security with Social Services in Melfort. In 1984 Mabel moved over to Family Services as a family services worker with Social Services in Melfort.
Sid Wonitowy
Sid first became a union member back in the mid-60's when the United Steel Workers of America (USWA) organized his workplace in Manitoba. He was elected Treasurer of the local and was very proud of his position.
