Health and Safety Introduction 
Unions have been at the forefront in pushing for laws to make our workplaces safe and healthy. As a result, workers have the right to refuse dangerous and unhealthy working conditions until the problems are addressed. Health and Safety Rights and Responsibilities (last updated: 17 Nov 05) Employer’s have primary responsibility for occupational health and safety. But as an employee and a union member you have rights and responsibilities too.
